Lucky Coin

Lucky Coin is one of those pick-up-and-play arcade games that looks trivial and then quietly eats your evening. You flick a coin across the screen, bounce it off ramps and pins, and try to land it in shrinking target zones. The physics are springy and predictable once you get a feel for them, which is exactly what a game like this needs.

Controls are dead simple: drag back, aim, release. There's a subtle trajectory hint that fades as you improve, and I appreciated that the game doesn't hold your hand for long. Later stages throw in moving platforms and wind gusts that force you to lead your shots, and that's where the whole thing clicks into something genuinely satisfying.

What stuck with me is the pacing. Levels are short, so a failed attempt never stings, and the restart is instant. It runs fine on older phones too, no stutter, no heat. It's not a deep game, but it's an honest one, and I kept coming back for one more flick.
